Summary Objective

CompassCare is currently seeking a talented and skilled Business & Training Manager to join our team. This individual will have the opportunity to manage all business aspects of CompassCare Institute of Caregiving (CCIC), including marketing, recruitment, curriculum and instruction for the newly launched CNA Program. In addition, this individual will oversee the training program for CompassCare caregivers. This full-time, salaried position is a unique opportunity for health care professionals who are seeking growth and advancement within the home health care industry.

Primary Responsibilities:
* Manage the CompassCare Institute of Caregiving CNA Program, including marketing, program and curriculum development, instructor recruitment, and administrative duties as required by the state.
* Lead training efforts to ensure that all caregivers understand and embrace the high standards as set by CompassCare. Training includes orientation and ongoing professional development.
* In conjunction with the Clinical Team, maintain, develop, and update all in-house clinical education and training materials.

Secondary Responsibilities:
* Focus on retention of caregivers through training, support, and relationship building.

* Create and maintain caregiver bios for best presentation to each client and prospective client.
* Maintain training and certification records for CCIC students and for CompassCare staff.
* Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

This position requires a flexible schedule.

Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent, with concentration in education, business, or related field

* Excellent verbal, written, and communication skills
* Excellent organizational and project management skills
* Ability to travel within the CompassCare service area, including Fairfield County, Westchester County, and New York City
* Leadership experience
* Strong interpersonal skills
* Attention to detail
* Technical skills
* Ability to adapt to various situations
* Ability to multi-task

Preferred Qualifications:
* 2+ years of work experience in home care or related field
* Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) license, or willingness to become certified within six months.
* Work experience in marketing or recruitment
