Job Description:
Phlebotomist | Rockefeller Outpatient Pavilion | 53rd Street
Hours: 10 hours flexed between 7:30am and 6:30pm
Our phlebotomists are an integral part of the clinical support staff, playing a vital role in the overall healthcare experience. We are seeking individuals who perform with a high standard of accuracy, precision, and responsibility. This opportunity offers a level of lab ownership that is centered around crafting the best possible experience for our patients. In this position you will obtain blood specimens via venipuncture and finger-sticks for laboratory analysis on adult patients and obtains vital signs and documents findings on patient visit sheets and performs accessioning and clerical duties as needed.

You Will:
Obtain units of blood from donors and platelet collection via apheresis
Conduct donor medical interviews to determine suitability for donation
Provide post donation care
Perform instrument and product quality control procedures
You Need:
Requires High School Diploma and or equivalent
Certificate demonstrating completion of medical assistant or phlebotomy training program
Minimum one year of strong phlebotomy experience
Basic computer knowledge and keyboarding skills necessary
Pay Range$22.11-$30.62
