Location: It is located in North Chicago at headquarters. We are recruiting locally in N. Chicago do not want it to be a remote role. Have tried remote in the past and it has not worked.
Hybrid scheduled three days in the office, two days at home.
Canadian payroll Canadian is helpful, but really looking for individuals with multi-country payroll experiences
Any specific countries multi countries, Ireland, Germany, Singapore, there are 48 different countries that Client touches so is why we need multi-country payroll experiences
Ex-pat payroll someone doing just US would not have the expat knowledge needed and we need this person to have this coming into the role so they do not have to train it.
Associates would be considered if in related fields, but bachelor is preferred.

Day to day work look like for a candidate 40 hours/week, 8/day 3 days in the office, 2 days from home. Analyzing payroll, doing tax equalizations, which is a specific tax calculation. Attending team calls, interacting with expat, explaining their payroll to them. Data analysts and working with the team and leadership of the team.
Workday is HRIS system, working in Workday, as well as the vendors platforms, various platforms. Assignment Pro is one of the tools, but doubt this would show on someone s resume.
Do need someone who is a stellar user of Excel.
How large of a payroll we have 180 200 ex pats that touch 48 countries. Beyond this, there are FTE relocations that touch the group as FTE s moving from one country to another country to provide different countries with the appropriate information for their payroll.
Possibility of extensions yes, extensions. Annual funding for this position. Good to start on a six-month contract before determining extensions for them.
Mentioned earlier, really want this to be local to Chicagoland, very difficult to work on this engagement in a remote area. Really appreciate help to find someone locally.

Our Global Mobility Team is currently seeking a Global Mobility Payroll and Tax Analyst to join our team locally in a contract position in a dual role outlined below. The global mobility team manages the s expatriate population as well as the domestic and international relocation programs. We have expatriates in over 45 countries around the world and hence, perform analysis in a wide array of currencies. As part of responsibilities the analyst will assist with the creation of data analytics tool/dashboard which will allow our business leaders insights regarding our relocation programs.
This professional will be engaged in assigned projects necessary to support the Global Mobility team which has several members outside of the US, and hence, will have exposure to global activities and processes within the company. The successful candidate will be expected to:
" Review and analyze expatriate tax and payroll results and pay slips in various currencies
" Navigate within the Workday environment and analyze data extracted from the platform
" Utilize vendor tools and source documents to validate Expatriate payroll production including tax ramifications
" Operate under general or minimum supervision, and perform duties with broad latitude for judgment
" Quickly synthesize data, determine implications, and make informed decisions often with large volumes of data
" Document, recommend, and make process improvements
" Present outcome of analysis to team members as well as leadership
" Tax Equalization review and collection
" Other duties as assigned
Professional must be proficient in Excel including but not limited to using pivot tables, sorting and filtering large volumes of data as well as analyzing data in excel pulled from various sources. Knowledge of Access is also a plus. Experience with Power Bi and Microsoft Teams environment preferred.
