Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a Ground Base Air Defense (GBAD) Inventory Specialist supporting a Ground /Air Task Oriented Radar (G/ATOR) program for the Navy Division.
The program provides engineering and technical services necessary to support the Naval Surface Warfare Center - Port Hueneme Divisions (PHD) mission, including In-Service Engineering, Acquisition Engineering, Software Support (ISE/AE/SSA), Integrated Logistics Support (ILS), Installation Services/Support/Coordination, Programmatic/ Project Management Support, and Staging Facility Support Services.
For this specific position, the candidate will provide direct support to the Government In-Service Engineering Agent (ISEA) as an Inventory Specialist.
The candidate provides Inventory Management support for the USMC Ground Based Air Defense (GBAD) program and other Marine Corps weapons and electronic systems. Provides assistance for the accountability of assigned systems and performs inventory management in accordance with MCO 4400.201. Provides planning and advice for the acquisition program office and provides assistant to fleet Marines for in-service systems

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS
High School Graduate (or equivalency)
5 years required; (6 8 yrs desired) of experience with the Ground Based Air Defense Program (GBAD)
Active Secret Clearance U.S. Citizenship is required for all applicants
Certifications: N/A
Specific experience with inventory management of Marine Corps weapons and electronic systems, policies and procedures
Knowledge and experience with formal accountability inspections IAW MCO 4400.201
Knowledge and experience with Management Control Authority (MCA) regarding logistics within the military acquisition framework
Candidate must be open to frequent, but low duration, travel
Knowledge and experience with GCSS-MC ,DPAS and Sharepoint.
Ability to perform periods of remote work is negotiable based on experience and demonstrated skill level.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS
Direct work experience with the Ground Based Air Defense Program (GBAD)
Familiarity with USMC acquisition program support
Familiarity with USMC logistics support and repair parts requisition processes
Experience with US Marine Corps MOS of 3043/51 or 0411.
Interpersonal and communication (oral and written) skills
Personal computer skills (competent with MS Office applications)
RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs Inventory Management for GBAD and various other USMC weapons and electronic systems
Maintains inventory data in program office approved database(s)
Provides inventory reports to the program office and other support organizations
Manages the Program Offices inventory portfolio consisting of Loans, bailments and transfers and provide monthly status reports
Maintains close contact with manufacturers, field activities, and fleet units to record and report on system inventory status
