Key Responsibilities
Interacts with employees, peers and staff in a manner conducive to continued positive relationships. Displays patience, courtesy and tact.
Support and maintenance of all existing applications and development of new technical solutions.
Ability to configure mail systems, system installation and configuration, printing systems, fundamentals of security and installing and upgrading software. Maintains, manages, performs diagnostics, and repair and/or make recommendations hardware repair for I.T. technology to include Microsoft Outlook software, Aprima software, HCHB software, Structured Query Language (SQL) server, Relational Database Management System (RDBMS), all system hardware, and system enhancements and provide minor script programing.
Responsible to boot and shutdown systems, install and configure WinNT, diagnose and correct operating system problems, add and remove user accounts, use back-up programs to include off-site storage of backups, and maintain system database files.
Make recommendations regarding purchasing needs of I.T. equipment.
Ensure the consistency and maintainability of existing applications by creating, maintaining and enforcing standards/procedures for technical solutions. Prepare, maintain and revise I.T. user manual(s) for employees and corporate I.T. management.
Set up networking routers, switches, and wireless access points.
Install domain controllers.
Set up Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) and Domain Name System (DNS).
Coordinate installation of hardware and software, and implementation of procedure changes.
Promotes compliance with all State, Federal and Regulatory Agencies. Maintains current knowledge of and promotes compliance with all federal, state and local laws related to data integrity and HIPAA.
Manages and maintains company web-site administration and directs changes as required.
Manages and maintains company external email server and directs changes as required.
Manages and maintains company cellular phones and / or directs changes as required.
Manages and maintains companies back up files and disaster recovery plan.
Able to manage/direct/supervise I.T. personnel.
Maintains important relationships and seeks for new relationships as needed with suppliers, vendors and contractors. Assures competitive pricing and engages in bidding process.
Develop and maintain a company help desk program to support employee desktop utilization, for office and field personnel to provide for remote environment and uploading and down loading from the field.
Assumes responsibility in development, implementation and evaluation of budget and plans for productivity and cost effectiveness.
Analyzes available reimbursable data, identifies trends, and initiates appropriate plans of action.
Communicates information to staff with regard to available support services, resources, agency policies and procedures and organizational plans.
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of technology experience in hands-on technical roles.
Technical experience with systems networking, databases, web development, and user support
Proven ability to be flexible and thrive working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
