Job summary
Job Summary:We are looking for an experienced and certified Azure enterprise architect and engineer to join our team and help us design, implement, and maintain cloud solutions. You will translate business requirements into technical specifications, develop and test Azure applications and services, and ensure compliance with security and governance standards.
This position is required to report to the SHI Somerset NJ or SHI Austin office location as determined by SHI management.

Responsibilities:
Include but not limited to:
Lead the design and architecture of Azure solutions, including cloud infrastructure, networking, storage, security, identity, and DevOps.
Implement and deploy Azure applications and services, using tools such as Azure CLI, PowerShell, ARM templates, and Azure DevOps.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Azure performance, availability, scalability, and reliability.
Monitor and optimize Azure resources, using tools such as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
Provide guidance and best practices on Azure features and capabilities, such as Azure AD, Azure Policy, Azure Blueprints, Azure Security Center, Azure Sentinel, and Azure Lighthouse.
Collaborate with other architects, engineers, developers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality cloud solutions.
Qualifications:
Bachelors or masters degree in computer science, engineering, information technology, or related field.
At least 5 years of experience in Azure solution architecture and engineering, with proven track record of successful projects.
Azure certifications, such as AZ-303, AZ-304, AZ-500, AZ-400, or AZ-900.
Strong knowledge of Azure services and technologies, such as Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Azure SQL Database, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure Storage, Azure Service Bus, Azure Event Grid, Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Virtual Network, Azure Load Balancer, Azure Firewall, Azure VPN Gateway, Azure ExpressRoute, and Azure Bastion.
Proficient in scripting and programming languages, such as PowerShell, C#, Python, or Java.
Familiar with agile and DevOps methodologies and tools, such as Scrum, Kanban, Azure DevOps, Git, Jenkins, or Ansible.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
Additional Information:
The estimated annual pay range for this position is $90,000- $160,000. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending.
