Responsibilities:
Responsible for the overall strategic leadership, planning, development, direction, coordination, and control of activity within patient care; clinical and clinical support service areas. Works collaboratively with leaders and staff to ensure that quality patient care is delivered in a cost-effective manner. Works with C-suite in service line growth, revenue cycle, clinical operations, accreditation, and value-based care initiatives. Will participate in medical staff meetings, have oversight of medical staff office, and help with medical staff development and issues. Actively participate in payor relations and JOC.

Qualifications:
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
1. Physician Licensed to practice
2. Board certified/Board eligible
3. Doctor of Medicine degree or equivalent
4. Internal Medicine / hospitalist MD experience strongly preferred, medical subspecialty considered.
5. Five (5) years of progressive responsibility in Healthcare Administration, preferred
6. Masters Degree in Business Administration, Health Administration, Medical Management, preferred
7. Proficiency in computer operations including word processing
8. Demonstrates community commitment
9. Ability to lead at all levels of management
10. Must possess excellent leadership, written and verbal communication skills
