Overview:
The Hilton University of Florida Conference Center, a distinctive property with 248 guest rooms and 25,000 sq ft of meeting space, seeks a Group Sales Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is perfect for a results-oriented professional with a passion for the hospitality industry.
In this role, you will:
Oversee and optimize our sales systems (Delphi.fdc)
Analyze business intelligence to identify and execute revenue-generating initiatives
Develop and manage social media strategy to engage customers and build brand awareness
Manage group room blocks and function space to maximize utilization and revenue
Build and maintain positive relationships with clients through effective communication
Partner with the Director of Sales and Catering to secure new business and manage existing accounts
Assist with day-to-day sales operations and ensure accurate communication across departments

Qualifications:
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred)
Minimum 1-3 years of experience in hotel sales, with a focus on group business
Proven track record of exceeding sales goals and generating new business
Strong analytical skills and experience with business intelligence reporting
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and hospitality sales systems
