The National Security Sector at Leidos is hiring for a Project Manager / Delivery Manager to lead an agile, cloud-based data, and analytics platform contract. You will lead the team in Agile methodologies to deliver the solution, emphasizing the frequent, incremental release of system software, features, and updates in many small deployments rather than in fewer, larger releases. This role is expected to be on-site at a Leidos facility in Reston, VA with travel to various government sites in the Washington Metro Area. This opportunity is contingent upon contract award.
What youll be doing:
Oversee the daily operations of the Agile delivery teams and coordinating development and delivery activities with business owners and product owners
Manage the team's planning and capacity constraints, resolve blockers that require coordination outside of the agile delivery teams, prioritize work for each sprint, and ensure that working software is delivered to the customer and meets functional needs
This role will work closely with the Chief Product Team to ensure a focus on the long-term delivery roadmap is coordinated with short term execution of work
Responsible for the management and oversight of Contractor performance, staff, and deliverables for the contract
Responsible for all contractor work performed under the contract and statement of work
Act as a single point of contact for the government CO, COR, Technical Monitor, and other government leadership
What does Leidos need from me?
Must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance (Background Investigation)
BA/BS or equivalent experience and eight plus years of prior relevant experience or Masters with six plus years of prior relevant experience.
Experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
Four plus years of experience supervising or leading teams or projects
Five years of experience with Agile IT product management and delivery

Agile delivery must be within the last year of employment leveraging the skills and knowledge required to support Agile development teams
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
Favorable if you have:
Data Analysis, Data Engineering, Data Science, Databricks
Microsoft Azure or AWS Cloud Environments
Decision Analysis and Support
Relational Database Management System (RDBMS) Experience
Python Library Development
Python, Spark, and/or SQL Scala Programming
