Responsibilities - Body Shop Technician:
Disassemble and assemble vehicles for repair
Repair and replace a variety of vehicle parts
Perform diagnostic tests to ensure that all issues have been detected and resolved
Follow all workplace safety requirements
Prepare cars to be painted by sanding and refinishing them
Scuff and sand new parts
Cleanup work area and dispose of waste
Qualifications/Requirements Body Shop Technician:
3 - 5+ years of Automotive Service, Collision, or Body Shop experience required
I-CAR or GM experience is a plus!
Effective communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills required
Ability to utilize a wide variety of vehicle maintenance and repair tools
Basic technological and mathematical proficiency
Must have own tool set
Excellent problem-solving skills required
Must be focused on maintaining a high level of customer service
Must be able to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time, have good vision, be able to lift up to 50lbs., and have the ability to walk long distances
Valid state driver's license
