Job SummaryThe AVP of Engineering is accountable for leading the Engineering, Energy & Sustainability Services, and Telecommunications operations for all sites. This includes the oversight of the day-to-day operations, infrastructure upgrades, business and energy related responsibility, maintenance and coordination of the department in order to provide for safe efficient, compliant and reliable electrical, mechanical, and A/C systems and equipment throughout the 3.5 million square feet, including leadership management of the cogeneration plant at Moses. Provides leadership and support to Montefiore in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines, and regulations governing the facilities.
Requirements
Masters degree preferred, Bachelors degree required.
New York State Professional Engineer License.
Required to have 20+ years facilities management with supervisory experience of building engineers.
Experience in Healthcare preferred.
Provide accountability and supervision for management.
Coach and counsel staff as necessary.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory agencies.
