Job summary
The International Department Letter of Credit Issuance team handles issuance, amendments, renewals and reporting related to the First Horizon Bank-issued Letter of Credit portfolio. This role will assist primarily with Standby Letters of Credit.
The position is located in Memphis, Tennessee at the main office and is an in-person role.
Essential Duties and responsibilities include coordination with other team members on the following processes:
File management and review to be sure thatThe application/request is in the correct format
The request is authorized and approved
Queues are properly managed in bank approval systems (nCino)
Complete documentation is uploaded to ARX for each transaction event
Input and issuance of Letters of Credit and amendments into LC system
Renewal process management for Letters of Credit, includingManagement of renewal reminders
Maintenance of LDTS exceptions for auto-renewing LCs
Handling of renewal fees
Coordination of booking and maintenance of Letters of Credit on the loan system (ACBS)
Monitoring department email boxes to respond to internal and external communications
Periodic billing events for high volume / white glove clients
Tracking, recording and reporting of Standby Letter of Credit fees toGL accounts
RMIP (Incentives)
ACBS (loan system)
Qualifications:
High level of attention to detail and ability to understand and explain transactions
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Experience working on various software applications
Basic accounting knowledge
Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and V-lookup usage
Experience Required:
At least one year of banking experience or equivalent in education and work experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with Letters of Credit and ICC guidelines (specifically UCP 600 and ISP98)
Familiarity with bank applications: Hogan, ACBS, LDTS, ARX, nCino and Sharepoint
