Job summary
The right candidate for this position will be open to learning and accomplishing your primary goal for assisting in contracts and closing for the home building industry. We are looking for a candidate with great attention to detail and a self-sufficient go-getter. We are consistently growing here at Megatel Homes and we are looking for a hard-working individual to succeed together. Here at Megatel Homes, we have 40 subdivisions with 6 new communities. The right candidate will be able to manage their time to assist in closing roughly 100 homes/month.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
* Ensure that all financial aspects of the transaction are complete and accurate and follow up with sales agents for any necessary clarification.
* Copy and distribute all contract items to appropriate parties.
* Maintain backlog information and update closing calendar and distribute to appropriate personnel.
* Compose routine correspondence via email with all parties.
* Upload, process, maintain all sales contracts, amendments, and cancellations/terminations.
* Process all earnest money and option money.
* Complete tasks needed for closings.
* Utilize the BRIX system
* Appraisal Comps are high volume and will take up to 50% of your day
* Additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
* High School Diploma/GED
* Four (4) year degree from accredited college or equivalent job-related experience.
* Ability to multi-task and prioritize several tasks without compromising quality of work or deadlines.
* Ability to review analyze and interpret information as well as trouble-shoot to solve problems.
* Strong oral and written communication skills.
* Customer service-focused/strong interpersonal skills.
* Excellent time-management skills.
* Basic computer skills Word, Excel, and Outlook
* Knowledge of sales/closing process
* Proficiency in BRIX
