Reports to: Director of Market Development
Your role will be to help us break into new territories and new referral networks. You will report to our Director of Market Development. This position strongly prefers the skills, knowledge and abilities of a health care sales and marketing professional. Our ideal candidate will have a strong, quantifiable track record of success in this arena. This role requires a high degree of organization, attention to detail, time-management, and self-motivation. You will need the ability to work independently and out of the office to achieve goals while coordinating with office staff. Effective negotiation, conflict management, customer service and interpersonal relations skills are necessary.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Seek opportunities to grow our Home Health services by identifying, approaching and establishing relationships with new referral sources. Research and identify potential referral sources and cultivate them. Maintain effective relationships with existing referral sources.
* Keep accurate contact reports and marketing information on referral sources. Track, analyze, and report referral activity by referral source.
* Develop and maintain ongoing relationships with potential referral sources such as physicians, physician office staff, elder care facilities, hospital staff and professionals (lawyers, brokers, physicians, accountants, etc.) who serve high-wealth mature clients.
* Cultivate relationships with patients prior to treatment, ensure on-going satisfaction during treatment, and consistently check DeVero to collect information about the treatment progress.
* Understand and explain medical insurance coverage and policies to patients.
* Assist with client communication and problem resolution. Represent the company in a positive and professional manner.
* As a primary point of contact with clients and referrers, you will also be in a unique position to identify opportunities for improvement. Work with staff to resolve any and all problems identified during the sales call process and improve our service over time. The better our service, the easier it will be for you to sell.
* Function as a liaison between the organization and the referral source. Follow up with all customer and referrer concerns regarding opportunities to improve.
* Attend weekly marketing meetings and share success, obstacles and current needs with team members.
EDUCATION:
High school degree, GED, college, military service, three or more years of related sales experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:
Current drivers license, vehicle insurance, good driving record, and reliable transportation are required.
