Accounts Payable Coordinator:
Lennar is seeking an Accounts Payable Coordinator who will review invoices for accuracy and consistency, circulate invoices for approval, work with vendors to resolve past due invoices and ensure that invoices are paid on a timely basis.
Responsibilities:
Process invoices, which include obtaining proper approvals, verifying account coding, check mathematical accuracy of support.
Research prior/past due balances noted on invoices to determine if prior invoices have been paid or not.
Receive, research and resolve a variety of routine internal and external inquiries concerning invoice status, invoice discrepancies, and status of payment.
Review batch check runs for accuracy, mail out checks timely.
Process check requests.
Release current weeks ACH payments.
Verify invoices include appropriate lien releases.
Respond to all correspondence via email and/or phone.
Sort and distribute mail.
Manage and process large volume of real estate tax payments.
Call utility companies to stop service.
Maintain vendor files.
Prepare check deposits.
Prepare and submit required weekly/monthly/quarterly reporting to Division Management.
Assist in various other projects assigned by Controller and Assistant Controller.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required
Minimum of two years office and accounts payable experience in the homebuilding industry
Intermediate computer skills Microsoft Word and Excel
JD Edwards experience preferred
Excellent attention to detail
