Schedule: 1st shift, M-Thursday CNC Mill Machinist

Position Overview: We are seeking a talented and experienced CNC Machinist to join our highly skilled team. As a CNC Machinist, you will play a crucial role in manufacturing aerospace components with utmost precision and efficiency. Responsibilities:

Set up and operate CNC machines to manufacture aerospace components in compliance with engineering specifications and quality standards.

Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions to determine machining requirements.

Select appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and materials for each machining operation.

Conduct precision measurements and inspections using various metrology tools to ensure accuracy and adherence to specifications.

Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure optimal machine performance and minimize downtime.

Collaborate closely with engineers and designers to provide input on manufacturability and process improvement.

Continuously monitor and evaluate machining processes to identify opportunities for efficiency enhancement and cost reduction.

Maintain a clean and organized work area and adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training in machining is preferred.

3-5 years proven experience as a CNC Machinist in an aerospace or precision machining environment.

Proficiency in operating and programming CNC machines (mills, lathes, or multi-axis machines) using industry-standard software (e.g., Mastercam, SolidWorks).

Strong understanding of machining principles, tooling selection, and machining processes.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) symbols.

Familiarity with metrology tools (e.g., micrometers, calipers, height gauges) and experience in conducting precision measurements and inspections.

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and adjust machining processes as needed.

Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on quality and accuracy.

Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
