Job summary

The primary function of the Community Ambassador is to deliver exceptional service to existing and prospective residents to ensure that the communitys occupancy is maximized each year. The Community Ambassador places customer needs, requests, and follow up as a top priority. The Community Ambassador should be outgoing, energetic, and creative while performing their job responsibilities. The Community Ambassador assists in the planning of community events, actively participates in on- and off-campus activities, and must be able to meet specific sales goals as outlined by the Leasing and Marketing Manager and Community Manager. Reports to:Community Manager Direct Reports:None Roles and Responsibilities The duties listed below are an outline of the Community Ambassadors responsibilities and should not be considered an all-inclusive list. As the needs of the community change, these duties may be modified as needed. Leasing & Marketing Performs all responsibilities in a timely and efficient mannerRepresents the community and Landmark Properties in a professional mannerAdheres to standards and complies with corporate procedures and government laws on Fair HousingPlans and participates in resident retention programs under the direction of the Leasing & Marketing ManagerConduct all tasks necessary to close the sale, including making appointments, generating new leads, conducting tours, maintaining the model, and traffic follow upComplete and submit required materials in a timely manner such as weekly reports, guest cards, and service requestsRespond to internet and telephone inquiries in a timely and professional manner General Administration Report on time to your shiftEnsure confidentiality of client, resident and company informationAttend and contribute to all staff meetings and any special or emergency meetingsUnderstand and adhere to the Landmark Properties policies and proceduresMaintain a clean and professional work environmentReport time and attendanceAssist with roommate matching, transfers, move-ins, and move-outsUnderstand the lease document and all related addendums and be able to clearly communicate to residents, prospective residents, and parents all relative informationParticipate in all move-in and move-out related activities, including inspections and trash-outsManage time efficiently and effectively Customer Service Understand the needs and expectations of residents, prospective residents, clients, and vendors and exceed their expectationsDevelop a sense of community among the residents and staffMaintain active and effective communication with residents, parents, and university personnelContribute to the monthly newsletter and resident communicationsMaintain a positive community environment for both residents and associates and encourage participation in events and activitiesAssist in mediation and resolution of resident conflicts by encouraging the respect for and appreciation of individual differencesWalk each apartment prior to move-in to ensure that the units are clean and ready for move-inAssist in keeping the community clean by surveying common areas regularly and reporting any concerns and / or helping to clean up when necessaryPerform open and closing checklists that may include housekeeping Risk Control Understand, communicate, and enforce community safety, emergency, and fire evacuation policies and procedures, providing emergency response and referral services and resourcesDocument the behaviors of residents that violate the law or the community lease agreement and report to the Community ManagerIdentify and report safety and security risks to the Community Manager Work Environment The work environment characteristics described herein are representative of those an employeeencounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
