JOB SUMMARY
The Product Management Supervisor (Hi-Rel Interconnect Product Lines) provides strategic direction and hands-on leadership. This role is instrumental in the company's continued growth and success. This position supervises the Product Management team in their region and is to be a driving force behind our desire and commitment to be the best in class.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Other duties as assigned.
Promotes and supports operational excellence and maintains an environment that fosters continuous improvement, teamwork, and commitment to satisfy customer requirements.
Possess an overall knowledge of Heilind Mil Aero's suppliers regarding policy, procedures, contacts, and products.
Set a positive and professional example to the Region, Divisions, and internal departments.
Formulate strategies to win quotes through market intelligence, knowledge of competition and our suppliers costing policies.
Responsible to act as a backup for the PMM as required and to support them in their initiatives.
Manages responsible product lines and ensures proper coverage of workload for those in the region.
Manage the Product Managers and Product Manager Assistants for the assigned region. Provide overall guidance on day-to-day operations and manage time and attendance.
Perform ongoing evaluation, training, and development plans for professional growth of direct reports in collaboration with the PMM.
Review Prior Days Bookings Report and Ship and Debit About to Expire Report for GP enhancement opportunities.
Act as the first point of elevation for outstanding requests from Sales.
Review all open Quote Accelerator projects for your region and follow through to completion.
Assist in special projects as needed.

Requirements
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree in a Business field: Business Administration, Marketing, or Finance from a four-year college or university or an equivalent combination in education and experience.
3+ years of product management experience with Military interconnect highly preferred.
Demonstrated ability to motivate employees and demonstrated management skills (i.e., business knowledge, leadership, communication, ability to analyze issues, conflict resolution.)
SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:
Must be a US Citizen due to US Navy Contractual Agreements.
Must be able to report to assigned office during scheduled in-office workdays.
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required.
Proactively recognizes problems or issues and works to correct them before they escalate.
Excellent business acumen and a thoughtful approach to decision making.
Creativity to introduce new ideas which could improve sales or processes.
Leadership skills which will propel your team forward.
Must be a problem-solver and inspire creative solutions.
Functions in a fast passed, dynamic environment while multi-tasking priorities simultaneously.

Domestic travel required less than 10% of the time.
Must have a valid driver's license.
Driving record must be in good standing.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
While performing the duties of this job the employee is often required to stand, sit, use computers, read, write, type, use copy machines, file paperwork, use telephones, and utilize written and oral communication to interact with clients, co-workers, and customers. Must possess mobility to work in a standard warehouse setting and work with and around a variety of equipment, parts, and inventory, operate a motor vehicle and forklift (if position requires); strength, stamina, and mobility to perform medium physical work; Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision, Distance vision, Peripheral vision, Depth perception and Ability to adjust focus. Ability to distinguish colors and color variation of physical parts and components, and in documentation such as work instructions and engineering drawings. Hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephone or radio. Finger dexterity is needed to access, enter, and retrieve data using a computer keyboard or calculator. Positions in this classification bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and climb to perform work. Employees must possess the ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials and objects weighing up to 50 pounds and heavier weights with the proper equipment.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Position is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions (such as in typical office or administrative work.)
