Job Description:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Staff Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in accounting principles, financial analysis, and reporting. This individual will be responsible for overseeing various financial activities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all accounting operations.
Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger maintenance, and bank reconciliations.
Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
Conduct month-end and year-end close processes.
Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, regulations, and company policies.
Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes.
Assist in the development and implementation of accounting procedures and controls to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Lead and mentor junior accounting staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
CPA certification preferred.
2+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles, with a focus on general ledger accounting, financial reporting, and analysis.
Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, SAGE) and MS Excel.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Prior experience in a supervisory or leadership role is a plus.
