DEPARTMENT: Ray & Joan Kroc Corps Community Center (RJKCCC)
REPORTS TO: Facilities Supervisor
SUPERVISES: Maintenance and EVS support staff
SALARY: $23.00 GRADE: 77 STATUS: Non-Exempt COMMUNICATIONS CODE: 3
SCHEDULE: Full Time. Must be willing and able to work weekends and evenings as may be required in performance of duties or as requested to support the ongoing operations of the Kroc Center.

Responsibilities:
Position Description: The Facilities Shift Coordinator is responsible for specific shift operations and cleaning of the physical facilities of the RJKCCC. The Facilities Shift Coordinator will assist the Facilities Supervisor (FS)in planning, organizing, developing and directing the overall operation of the maintenance and environmental
services (EVS) staff in accordance with Federal, State, and local standards, guidelines and regulations governing our facility, and as may be directed by the Kroc Administrator/or Director, to assure that the Kroc Center is maintained in a safe and comfortable manner. The Facilities Shift Coordinator will supervise, plan, review and evaluate the work of subordinates on his/her work shift; oversee and evaluate on-the-job and outside training; develop and make adjustments to objectives, assignments, schedules and priorities.

Qualifications:
Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent, Associate or BS in facilities related field preferred. Two years of job-related supervisory experience. Working knowledge of facilities equipment (inc. but not limited to boilers, compressors, generators, electrical and plumbing systems, building codes, hand tools and power tools. Possess knowledge of repair, maintenance, and construction techniques and of the tools, methods, practices, materials and equipment used in the construction and mechanical trades Must be able to read, write and communicate in English. Must have ability to work and relate well with people. Must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds Proficiency in oral and written communication skills. Must possess a valid Drivers License with two or less violations (moving or accident) over the past two years. Must possess the ability to pass The Salvation Army Fleet Safety Drivers Test. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office. Must be able to recognize and manage preventive maintenance programs across all aspects of facilities, as necessary. As a Mandated Reporter, must provide proof of having completed training on recognizing and reporting child abuse meeting the training standards of PA Act 153 of 2014 with recurrent training required every five years thereafter. Meets the Child Protection Clearances required by PA Act 153 to include PA Child Abuse History Clearance, PA State Police Criminal Record Check and FBI Criminal Record Check. Must possess understanding of and appreciation for the Mission of The Salvation Army and the RJKCCC.
