It offers top-ranked degree programs in occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech, language and hearing sciences, health science, athletic training, human physiology, behavior and health, and nutrition The assistant director for HR (ADHR) is responsible for managing human resources and academic affairs operations for Sargent College and its dynamic community of approximately 400 benefits eligible faculty, researchers, and staff. Reporting to the associate dean of finance and administration and as a member of a small administrative team, the assistant director will serve as strategic advisor and as key contributor. Using a collaborative and consultative approach, the ADHR will support best practices in talent acquisition, employee relations, professional development and engagement, compensation, and performance management. Core responsibilities include administering and monitoring all payroll activities and faculty HRIS actions. The assistant director will sustain and support a culture of integrity and operational excellence which celebrates diversity of individuals and ideas and which values accountability, collaboration, equity and inclusion, growth and adaptability, communication, and innovation. The assistant director will strive towards continuous improvement of college-level human resources systems to deliver high-quality services to faculty and staff. Required SkillsBachelor's degree required, Masters degree preferred

Previous managerial or supervisory experience
