Job summary
**$1,500 Sign-On Bonus**Sound Credit Union is currently seeking an
Applications Systems Administrator.
In this role, you will be responsible for the planning and execution of upgrades, maintenance, and troubleshooting of applications and systems in use by business departments and members. You will also contribute towards the design of the system by fully understanding the business requirements and translating those requirements into actionable system features for successful system development by centralized IT Solutions.
You will also be tasked with the testing and direct ongoing administration of assigned enterprise solution software and acting as a resource for system changes or upgrades.
Duties:
* Provides support for daily business procedures and troubleshoot complex issues in a timely manner and escalate items to appropriate tech support as needed.
* Coordinate with multiple departments and outside vendors to understand business processes and functions.
* Administer, maintain, monitor, and repair assigned applications and parent systems.
* Plan and coordinate testing changes across multiple environments (TEST, STAGE, PROD), upgrades, and new services.
* Research and recommend innovative and automated approaches for system administration tasks.
* Monitor equipment to detect errors.
* Conduct diagnostics to read code or determine specifications of communications lines, particularly on enterprise voice over IP (VOIP) phone systems.
* Collaborate with project managers, business management, other business partners, and subject matter experts to address and map out enhancement requests.
* Use your technical expertise to collaborate with IT and other system administrators to provide a consistent member experience across all channels.
* Develop and maintain procedural documentation, test plans, and test scripts.
Skills:
* Advanced knowledge of credit union systems including core, operational apps, payments, and loan systems (VOIP, Symitar, Synergy, Image Center, Akcelerant, etc., experience preferred).
* Analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills to critically evaluate user requests to establish underlying true needs and distinguish solution ideas from requirements.
* Experience with program and project management concepts.

Requirements:
* Two or more years of experience in enterprise-scale applications and system hardware, upgrades, installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
* High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
* Tier 1 or Tier 2 Technical Support: 1 year or equivalent support specialist role required.
* Employer sponsorship to secure or maintain employment authorization is not available.
Preferred qualifications:
* Windows Server operating systems, Office 365, imaging and document storage solutions, and proficiency in data retrieval, networking, system security/SSO, and incident resolution.
* Bachelors degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, business administration, or related technical field equivalent.
* Demonstrated experience in related systems administration in a bank or credit union, analyzing technological alternatives, presenting solutions, and exposure to mid to large-size LAN/WAN environments.
Days/Hours: Monday - Friday, occasional weekends as needed.

Pay: $70,800- $88,500 Annual Salary
