Parkhurst Dining, part of the Eatn Park Hospitality Group, is a family owned, family run company that provides culinary, dining and catering services to over 80 organizations and universities east of the Mississippi.
We are currently hiring a General Manager 1 in New London, NH. The General Manager 1 is the senior leader of the dining service department who is responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and overseeing all activities and systems in a department whose managed volume is between $1.51 -$3.5M dollars annually.
What will you do in this role?
· Proactively addresses customer and client needs to enhance satisfaction and retention; responds to client and customer needs in a timely manner.
· Develops meaningful relationship with primary client contact and other key client personnel.
· Develops budgets for operations and capital equipment needs; works within budget to meet goals.
· Meets sales goals and continually looks for opportunities for revenue enhancements.
· Understands contract and ensures both client and company are in compliance with contract terms.
What does it take to be successful in this role?
· Seven years of professional experience with three or more years of experience in a leadership position in food service management, preferably within the higher education and/or business dining environment.
· Bachelors or Associates Degree in Culinary, Hospitality Management, Business, or related field.
· Proven experience in financial management and controls is essential.
· Proven ability to development management talent and build a strong management team.
