Job summary
The Girl Scouts in the Heart of PA (GSHPA) is growing and has a new opportunity for the right candidate! This Marketing & Communications Coordinator (focused on website and graphics work) will be responsible for managing, creating and updating content for the GSHPA website and blog, as well as taking the lead on in-house and contracted graphic design projects from concept to delivery. Website and graphic coordination projects will support membership, product program, program and marketing/communications needs for GSHPA. This team member will assist in the creation of content on all platforms: digital, graphics, video, photography, and written communications. Website-related job duties will include tracking and administering our GSHPA website updates (in close coordination with GSUSA); coordinating and recommending user-friendly website design, easily accessible content solutions, and prominent call-to-action website items; and working with other GSHPA departments to coordinate, design, and implement website content using Adobe Experience Manager. The position will also assist with content development for emails, outreach, and collateral materials. Our ideal candidate will also have experience in developing graphic designs, taking photographs, video editing (using Adobe software), and working with outside vendors to complete larger projects. This position will also coordinate and assist in the design of video and/or printed and electronic communications for a wide variety of projects, including but not limited to our annual meetings, newsletters, flyers, website content, blogs, and other marketing purposes. The position will also provide backup support for the rest of the marketing and communications team with content creation and delivery for various marketing and communications projects. The typical hours for this position are 8:30am-5pm, Monday-Friday. Occasional evening/weekend work may be required, depending on projects.
