Responsibilities:
Weatherford is hiring a Quality Control Inspector for our Diplomatic Plaza(Houston) facility. The Quality Control Inspector will be working within a supportive, inclusive team in a fast-paced, progressive environment. Weatherford provides training, excellent benefits and fantastic career progression.
This is the senior job level. Under supervision, monitor the development of all products manufactured by the company. Ensure the product of a company meet quality standards. Identify the problems and issues regarding quality of the products and also has to make recommendation to the higher authorities.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: (not listed in any particular order)
Under minimal supervision, performs dimensional inspection of drawings and prints;
Read and interpret Weatherford manuals to meet compliance standards;
Complete inspection reports;
Learn and understand Weatherford Quality Policy and comply with all requirements of the Quality Systems Manual, Operating and Technical Procedures and Workplace Instructions;
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to Plan ahead and organize daily and weekly tasks.
Apply Weatherford, and where appropriate Client Company Quality, Health, Safety & Environment Policy and Management Systems.
Qualifications:
Required:
5+ Years experience in an inspection role in a similar manufacturing facility.
Familiar with ISO 9001:2015 & API requirements.
Should have the knowledge thread inspection.
Must be able to demonstrate basic math, read blueprints / engineering drawings, and operate measuring equipment
Preferred:
GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
Good Knowledge about purchase process followed in Manufacturing plant in an MNC.
