Job summary
Our client, an industry leader in automation, is seeking direct hire Plant Electrician to join their team. As a Plant Electrician, you will be part of the Maintenance supporting the production team building parts for the oil field industry. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, problem-solving, and a can-do attitude which will align successfully in the organization.Job Title: Plant Electrician
Location: Sherman, TX
Pay Range: $22.29 to $33.02/hr
Whats the Job?
Responsible for all electrical services at the plant.
Fully plans and installs 120/240/480-volt electrical services which conform to city and NEC codes.
Responsible for other maintenance duties such as LAN installations, phone lines, plumbing repairs, and the repair of electrical/mechanical devices including but not limited to: production machines, assembly test equipment, boilers, air compressors, and HVAC systems.
Whats Needed?
High school diploma or GED
Two-year technical degree focused on the repair of electrical, mechanical, telecommunications or network installations.
Proof of active journeyman's electrical license for Grayson County required.
Must be currently qualified for and have minimum of two years hands on experience in 120/240/480 electrical installations.
Demonstrate knowledge in the following areas: HVAC systems, telecommunications, electrical circuits, mechanical systems, air compressors and hydraulics, PLC basics, OSHA regulations, and test equipment like megameters, digital multimeters, mechanical gauges, and indicators.
