Job summary
We are looking for building automation/HVAC controls candidates.Duties include:
* Perform on-site and remote technical support to installers and customers
* Deliver on-site and remote end user training for the use of the installed system.
* Perform final walkthrough with owner and construction manager to ensure all punch list items are complete and job received signoff of substantial completion.
* Submit weekly timesheet with a breakdown of hours spent on each project assignment to Business Portal no later than 9 am Monday and preferably by end of business on Friday of the work week.
* Responsible for completing projects assigned by a Lead Application Engineer.
* Understand HVAC and controls terminology
* Use Windows-based computers and Microsoft Office
* Use Google Drive
* Perform all physical activities needed including bending, squatting, lifting, and use all body senses to level required
* Perform mathematics needed and utilize language in a professional manner
* Work late, work in stressful environment, and travel as needed
* Troubleshooting, Commissioning
* Use any of the programming languages listed in the job description and Core Skills sections
* Develop and mentor Application Engineers due to lack of leadership experience
* Develop system user interfaces, according to project specifications or sales proposal.
* Create programming logic using flow diagrams, sequences of operation, understanding panel layouts, termination details and project specifications or sales proposal.
* Programming of control applications using various software tools to support operator workstations, DDC field panels and third-party integration devices connected through multiple communications protocols.
* On-site and remote installation of software and control programs.
