Job summary
Job Summary: Under limited supervision, carries out procedures to ensure that all information systems products and services meet minimum company standards and end user requirements. Thoroughly tests software to ensure Spanish translations have been completed throughout the system including screens and forms. Documents all problems and works to resolve them; reports progress on problem resolution to management. Must be fluent in English, Spanish including Puerto Rican dialect.Key Responsibilities:
Identify pages, dropdowns, forms, etc. not translated into Spanish
Identify existing translations that have a Puerto Rican variant of the translation
Can work with development team members to diagnose issues
Ability to test multiple software projects concurrently
Document and track all software defects
Evaluation and assignment of all trouble tickets to development team members
Adhere to company policies
Conduct to reflect professional attitude and actions
Other duties and special projects as assigned
Work Experience / Knowledge:
Bilingual English/Spanish with knowledge of Puerto Rican dialect
Work with developers and DBAs on test projects
Ability to meet goals and deadlines
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Utilization of defect tracking tools a plus
Knowledge of SharePoint a plus
Experience with mobile applications a plus
Experience with interface testing a plus
Qualifications / Certifications:
Working with various web browsers including Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome and Firefox
Associate's degree
1 year of Software testing experience or, Equivalent combination of education and experience
Special Requirements:
Windows Operating Systems knowledge
Microsoft Office proficiency
Internet Technologies
Development defect tracking tools
Web-based applications
Business level fluency in English and Spanish
