Job Description:75 MILE STRAIGHT LINE RADIUS RULE (not driving distance) - NO LOCAL TRAVELERS - CT Tech -

JobDescription: Performscomputerized tomographic radiographs according to established practices andProcedures, Reviews exams for clinical appropriateness, appropriatelyprioritizes exams, and demonstrates effective communication of criticalsituations. Is knowledgeable regarding hospital policies and procedures.
Certifications: BLS *Primary ARRT certification required within one yearof graduation from program of study (employees hired prior to 1984 are exemptfrom this requirement). *ARRT is preferred,*ARRT (CT) certificationpreferred
EMR: EPIC experience preferred.
Shifts: 8/12 hours varied shifts may fluctuate to fulfill department staffingneeds. On call, weekends , holidays and floating maybe required. Traveling pairs are notguaranteed same schedules or same shifts.
Orientation: 1st week of the contract, not to exceed 40 totalhours, and includes EPIC training.
Scrubs: Required and not provided by the facility.

1. Travelers must not have been an employee of the Presbyterian Healthcare Services system for 12 months from last day worked, in order to be considered for a travel position.
2. Travelers are first to float within facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles of permanent assigned location. 3. State tax is passed through to your agency and will be reflected on your invoice. The state tax should be paid to the state of New Mexico. 4. ENSURE AN ACCURATE SS# and DOB IS ENTERED. IF NOT, TRAVELER MAY BE PUSHED/AGENCY SUSPENED (creates I.T. onboarding issues).
