MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS Must be at least 18 years old or olderPrior related experience is preferredAbility to perform housekeeping duties following sanitation and safety standards and current guidelines in a timely and efficient manner without compromising qualityPromptly communicate concerns with residents health and/or unsafe living conditions to managementMeets state related requirements (as applicable for position)Ability to work in a team setting and be a positive team playerMaintain a positive, respectful, and professional approach with coworkers and residentsAbility to keep all business and operations information confidentialPossess excellent customer service and organizational skillsAbility to work under time constraints with little supervision while maintaining a high level of performance and meeting department deadlinesMay assist with disaster management efforts during evacuationsAbility to follow and adhere to policies, procedures, and standardsSatisfactorily pass Sunshines and state regulated criminal record clearance, health screening and TB clearance (if applicable)Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and politely in English, both verbally and in writing, with residents and staff ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Promptly documents and reports all maintenance issues and safety hazardsCleans resident apartments and Community common areas as assigned and according to housekeeping checklist and scheduleCompletes and submits all required documentation on time per department procedure, such as daily checklists, cleaning logs, etc.Removes trash in compliance with company proceduresDeep clean resident apartments and Community common areas according to schedule, and training protocolsPerforms other duties as assigned by managementMaintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guestsServes as role model for other employees by displaying responsible, cooperative, positive attitudeAttends education and training classes as necessary to fulfill state or provincial regulationsAssist with laundry management, including placing resident laundry on hangers, washing and drying linen, sorting and replenishing linen, and other duties as assigned OTHER JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Perform all work assigned for the agreed-upon salary, accepting no additional payment or non-perishable gifts from residents, vendors, Community management, or othersMeet the assigned work requirements of the job, regular attendance is requiredAdhere to dress/appearance code. Changes in attire may be dictated by special occasion or weather conditions. If you have questions, check with your supervisorAdhere to company and safety policies and procedures.
