Job summary
HPC-Industrial, powered by Clean Harbors, is looking for a Hot Tap/Line Stop to join their safety conscious team! This opportunity is based out of Morris, IL. This team member will be responsible for performing hot tapping and Line Stop services to repair, install and replace equipment.WORKING ENVIRONMENT: Industrial setting, refinery, petrochemical, utilities etc.

Key Responsibilities:
Provides on-site Hot Tapping and Line Stop services on work sites performing any of the following duties:
Hot Taps and conventional line stop
Hot Stops
High Temperature / High Pressure Stops
Inflatable (Bag) Stops
Angle taps
Tee stops and elbow stops
Across-the-line stops
Through the line valve stop
Freeze stops
Documents all hot tapping services activity as required
What does it take to work for HPC-Industrial?
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Technical school or relevant training.
Preferred 2 years of industry experience.
Able to write reports, safety regulations, and preventative maintenance plans
Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds.
Sufficient manual dexterity
Ability to maintain focus and multitask effectively.
Excellent communication and written communication.
Working Environment:
Field duties require indoor and outdoor working in a plant atmosphere.
Interaction with Supervisors, employees, and customers.
Working in a plant environment around production machinery with extreme noise levels.
Must be able to wear proper PPE.
